At CNR, our mission is twofold: to provide sustainable natural rubber alternatives that reduce the reliance on non-biodegradable plastics, and to uplift the communities that power our industry. By promoting Sri Lanka’s rich natural resources and reinvesting our revenue into community-focused initiatives, we contribute to reducing inequality and creating sustainable growth for all.

At Ceylon Natural Rubber, Women Lead The Way

Out of our six dir ectors, four are dynamic women who share a powerful vision: reducing the use of
plastics in toys and baby pr oducts. With over 90% of toys made from plastic, our team is committed
to making a meaningful difference.

Our Managing Director, Mano Sheriff, is a Global Women Power Leader for 2024, recognized for her 30-year legacy in the toy industry and dedication to sustainable innovation. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Sri Lanka, Mano brings invaluable expertise to our mission. She is joined by her daughter Nadinka, daughter-in-law Alexandria, and Alexandria’s sister Annika — all equally passionate about creating ecofriendly, natural rubber alternatives that promote a healthier planet.

Together, we established Ceylon Natural Rubber to fulfill our shared purpose of contributing to the fight against plastic pollution. Our mission is simple yet powerful to introduce safe, sustainable alternatives to plastic-based toys and products, proving that quality and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
